Saad is a refugee presently housed in Villawood dentention centre. Born in Kuwait to Iraqi parents, he moved to the Phillpines to study and was detained by the Phillipine government for being an Iraqi when the Gulf War started even though he had never been there.
The exhibition will be opened at 2.30pm on Saturday 26th June at 2.30pm by Father Gary McKeown.

If you’ve ever wondered exactly what ‘free range’ means, wanted to get in touch with the seasons, or show your children exactly where their food comes from, come on a Farm Walk with Mudgee Fine Foods.
SARJAY VEGETABLES - 9.00 am
Situated in the peaceful outskirts of historic Gulgong NSW, SarJay Farm comprises over 20 acres of ancient deep soil river flats. Here SARJAY grows a specialist range of fine vegetables using sustainable, non-chemical growing systems.
MUDGEE GOURMET HAZELNUTS - 10.30 am
The Coxes have their own hazelnut orchard but their main focus has been on breeding young plants (known as whips) from mother trees and selling them to growers mainly in the local region. It takes three to four years for trees to mature and start bearing a commercial crop. The Coxes then buy back the nuts, which they sell to a growing list of customers, from restaurants including Bistro Moncur to a biscuit maker in Perth, even as far away as the US.
In partnership with her husband, Clem, she propagates and grows the impressively named Tokolyi Brownfield Cosford (known as the TBC) hazelnut variety for their business Mudgee Gourmet Hazelnuts.
ORMISTON FREE RANGE PORK - 12 noon
Join us for a farm tour of a truly free range pig farm in the hills of Mudgee.
James and Georgie Caspar and their young family run a herd of Berkshire and Berkshire cross pigs on a rotational paddock system on their farm “Ormiston”. They farm under the three ideals of Compassion, Quality and Taste. All the pigs are outside for their whole lives, from the young piglets born in wooden huts in the paddocks to the growers running about in their shady woodlands. During the walk you will see how the farm structure enables the best welfare for the pigs, enjoy a walk through our lovely bushland where you can say hello to kangaroos and other wildlife and of course, meet lots of pigs
TICKETS: $10/PERSON OR $20/FAMILY
Tours start at each farm at the designated time and participants need to get themselves to and from each farm in their own transport. Please wear covered shoes, don’t take any pets, and be prepared to learn, enjoy yourself and get some dirt on you!
